VNIR Hyperspectral Imaging

The Hinalea VNIR Series captures rich spectral data across the visible and near-infrared range and consists of the following models:

• VNIR CORE is Hinalea’s compact, cost-effective VNIR hyperspectral imaging platform, designed for applications where size, weight, and ease of integration are priorities. Its small form factor makes it well suited for OEM equipment, machine vision systems, mobile platforms, and other embedded applications where a larger scientific imaging system is not required. Positioned as the accessible integration-focused model within the VNIR family, VNIR CORE provides a streamlined path to hyperspectral capability while VNIR PRO adds greater acquisition flexibility and VNIR ULTRA provides the line’s highest scientific imaging performance.
• VNIR PRO is Hinalea’s versatile, full-featured VNIR hyperspectral imaging platform, combining 400–1000 nm coverage and 4 nm spectral resolution with flexible acquisition modes. Its front-staring Fabry-Pérot architecture supports complete static hyperspectral cube acquisition as well as live operation using selected wavelengths. For applications requiring only a small number of diagnostic bands, near real-time operation increases cube throughput while preserving full-frame imaging. VNIR PRO is the workhorse of the VNIR line for research, inspection, and applications requiring a balance of spectral performance, acquisition flexibility, portability, and cost.
• VNIR ULTRA is Hinalea’s highest-performance VNIR hyperspectral imaging system, designed for demanding laboratory research and microscopy applications. Its back-side illuminated 4.2 MP sCMOS sensor combines high sensitivity and spatial resolution with 400–1000 nm spectral coverage and 4 nm spectral resolution. The tunable Fabry-Pérot Interferometer captures complete two-dimensional images at each wavelength without mechanical scanning, while microscope compatibility and flexible optical integration support light- or photon-limited specimens and fine-feature imaging. VNIR ULTRA is the preferred VNIR platform when sensitivity, spatial resolution, and scientific imaging performance are the priorities.
