The State of Hawaii welcomes TruTag and its HinaLea Imaging division to the Hawaii Pavilion
EMERYVILLE, CALIFORNIA ─ May 29, 2018 — TruTag Technologies, a leading security and technology solution provider, announced today that their TruTag® product identity and HinaLea™ Imaging products will be on display at the Hawaii Pavilion booth #2449 at the BIO International Convention in Boston, Massachusetts, June 4-7.
The BIO International Convention is hosted by the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO). BIO represents more than 1,100 biotechnology companies, academic institutions, state biotechnology centers and related organizations across the United States and in more than 30 other nations. The BIO International Convention provides access to global biotech and pharma leaders, exposure to industry thought-leaders with over 1,500 education sessions, and networking opportunities with 16,000+ attendees from 74 countries.
The Hawaii Pavilion represents Hawaii Life Sciences, a network of collaborators bringing together life science companies, research organizations, entrepreneurs and supporters building the life sciences industry in Hawaii. It is organized by the Hawaii Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism (DBEDT), and the Hawaii Technology Development Corporation (HTDC). TruTag Technologies is headquartered in Kapolei, Hawaii, 20 miles from Honolulu.
TruTag Technologies will showcase its on-dose product quality and authentication solution. TruTag has developed a customizable, high-security solution that provides absolute certainty of a product’s identity and enables unparalleled product diagnostics to combat counterfeiting and unauthorized diversion. TruTag microtags (TruTags®) can be safely added to most solid oral dosage form (SODF) drugs without modifying the manufacturing process already in place.
TruTag’s HinaLea Imaging division also will demo its fully autonomous high-resolution Model 4100H hyperspectral spectral imaging camera. The Model 4100H is a high precision camera with a built-in illumination source that captures high-resolution snap-shot images, yielding a complete spectrum at each pixel for the visible through near-IR wavelength (VNIR) range within two seconds without trade-offs between spatial and spectral resolution.
“We are proud to contribute to the economic development of the beautiful state of Hawaii where TruTag is headquartered and to work with Hawaii Life Sciences to share the industry benefits of TruTag’s product security solution and HinaLea’s quality-inspection system,” said Barry McDonogh, Senior Vice President of Business Development at TruTag Technologies.
