May 26, 2023 – Emeryville, CA – Vision Systems Design Magazine has chosen Hinalea Imaging as a 2023 Innovators Award Winner. The winning product entry was a first-of-its-kind multi-sensor workstation used for continuous flow synthetic chemistry in microreactors.
The workstation combines hyperspectral imaging (visible-near-infrared and shortwave infrared) and Raman spectroscopy along with an RGB camera. The overall configuration of the system allows each sensor to use the same microscope objective for easy sequential imaging of the same location. The combination of these three imaging technologies in one system had not been commercially available, which was a factor in the judging.
Judges for the 2023 Vision Systems Design Awards included executives from Proctor & Gamble, Industrial Vision Systems, PVI Systems, and Artemis Vision.
Hinalea Imaging produces a range of hyperspectral imaging cameras from the UV to Extended SWIR spectral ranges. In addition, Hinalea’s microscope adapters make medical/biological imaging applications possible at very high spatial and spectral resolutions.
