Hinalea Introduces Machine Learning-Powered VSWIR Camera Solution

Model 4300 adds to intelligent imaging product lineup

Hinalea Imaging Corp., a leading provider of advancedhyperspectral imaging solutions announced the launch of a new VSWIR hyperspectral camera system, adding to its award-winning family of intelligent imaging solutions.

The Model 4300 is a visible and shortwave-infrared (VSWIR) camera that covers 500-1700nm, making it ideal for several agrifood and industrial inspection applications. The Model 4300 is designed to image 300 spectral bands at a spatial resolution of 1.34 MP. Like all of Hinalea’s hyperspectral camera systems, the Model 4300 utilizes a front-staring multiple band sequential approach that does not require mechanical scanning of the subject. It combines high spectral and spatial performance with affordability and portability. Major feature benefits including image uniformity, application flexibility, real-time classification, and a complete solution that includes application software featuring leading edge network powered models, all at an affordable price.

The Model 4300 joins the growing Hinalea Intelligent Imaging product lineup, all powered by machine learning to capture detailed spectral and spatial information on specific targets and translate that data into actionable intelligence. The Hinalea hyperspectral imaging product line features:

  • Model 4000 UV (Coming Soon!): Ultraviolet (200-400 nm)
  • Model 4200C VNIR System: Compact version; visible and near-infrared (400-1,700 nm)
  • Model 4250 VNIR System: Visible and near-infrared (400-1,700 nm)
  • Model 4300 VSWIR System (NEW!): Visible and shortwave-infrared (500-1,700 nm)
  • Model 4450 SWIR System: Shortwave-infrared (950-1,700 nm)
  • Model 4455 XSWIR System: Extended range shortwave-infrared (1,120-2,100 nm)

“The introduction of our new Model 4300 VSWIR combines the latest developments in imaging sensors with our innovative Fabry-Perot spectral imaging technology,” said Alexandre Fong, Hinalea’s Chief Technology Officer. “It bridges the gap that exists with most hyperspectral imaging systems by spanning
such a broad range with excellent performance throughout, including the NIR, a region that has often posed challenges. Our proprietary Fabry-Perot approach offers unmatched flexibility in terms of range, band, and acquisition modes, while maintaining the combined capabilities of snapshot, framing and line scan methods. It is our most versatile platform so far, ideal for a vast array of applications.”

The Model 4300 VSWIR camera can be ordered now for shipments commencing later in 2024. Contact sales@hinalea.ai for more product information.
